Vaccination Requirement

NBOA will require proof of current COVID-19 vaccination in accordance with CDC recommendations for all participants and all NBOA staff members attending the 2022 NBOA Annual Meeting in Chicago. A COVID-19 booster shot is strongly encouraged as extra protection. For your own peace of mind, consider taking an antigen or PCR test within 72 hours of the meeting to confirm a negative result before you depart for Chicago.

Information for submitting proof of vaccination and signing a liability waiver before participating in the conference will be provided via email in early February to all participants on how to verify their vaccination status. Vaccination credentialing will be managed by CrowdPass.

Face Masks and Other Risk Mitigation

NBOA will continue to follow guidance and regulations from leading health authorities, the CDC, and federal, state and local mandates (please be aware these are subject to change based on current conditions).

NBOA is working hard to deliver the quality program, exhibition hall and networking opportunities that you expect from NBOA with your well-being as our top priority. Below are the additional measures being taken to help protect your health and peace of mind at the meeting:

• Requiring face masks to be worn by all attendees during all sessions (general sessions, deep dives and concurrent sessions), and in all public areas of the hotel
• Maximizing social distancing at receptions and social events as much as the physical space allows
• Encouraging any registered attendee experiencing COVID-19 symptoms to not attend the meeting, and offering a full refund of their registration fee in such circumstances
• Ensuring the Marriott Marquis Chicago implements heightened cleaning protocols throughout the hotel during our stay
